Warsaw Community Public Library Home Page
Our Teen Space is located on the second floor of the library with over 5000 teen titles! Come in and lounge on one of our chairs and read or play on the Teen iPad (no library card required)! But that’s not all! We also have movies, television shows, cd’s, e-books, e-audiobooks, and video-games for check-out located throughout the library or on the web! If you can’t find what you’re looking for, ask a librarian.
Start checking out our monthly programs. They’re free, fun, and just for you! One of our most popular programs is Drop in Zone: four straight hours of technological overload, complete with 4 gaming systems, a movie, and snacks! The Yu-Gi-Oh! Hobby League meets one or two times per month for four hours of dueling! New Release Tuesday is another popular program for all ages. We use our 11 foot screen to show films on the day they are released to DVD! We also have exciting programs that are planned based on holidays, popular culture, or just plain cool stuff. Watch for crafts, our Super Smash Brother’s Brawl Gaming Tournament, Author Skyping, and more. Online, you can find us on Facebook under “Teens Who Know How To Read”. For those of you who enjoy writing, there is a review blog with reviews written by you, the teens, on any subject as well as an online writing group that anyone 13-18 can be a part of! During Summer Reading Program, you can read books and earn prizes during June and July, and there are always a TON of programs!
If you have any questions, please ask a librarian! She will be happy to answer any questions you have concerning books, programs, homework and more!
